For Olivier Cresp, co-founder of Akro, traveling is as addictive as coffee or chocolate. Olivier began traveling working as an international maître parfumeur, traveling the world to meet clients and discover new flavors and scents along the way.

 

Even today he travels as much as possible, constantly finding inspiration and collaborations in every part of the world. One of Olivier's favorite places is the United Arab Emirates, a place of great intrigue and power where a great variety of very particular scents and aromas can be found.

 

For Olivier, this part of the world will forever be linked to the scent of oud, the rich and mysterious woodsy oil that is burned throughout the region. In homage to the United Arab Emirates and its addiction to travel, Cresp has created a new fragrance for Akro: the EAST edp, a perfume inspired by the markets of Dubai and the welcoming homes of the Emirates.
