Rosendo Mateu is the living image of a self-made man, and this is reflected in his work and especially in the perfectionism that characterizes each of his creations. Mateu has been a specialist in the world of perfumes for more than 45 years and during this time he has developed dozens of fragrances. Each of them bears his personal signature and the ambition to achieve a combination of marketability and the creation of a unique product. After working for some of the largest international brands, Mateu has dedicated part of his time to more ambitious projects, such as the development of personalized perfumes, which have led him to study subjects as diverse as Greek civilization, the Roman Empire or the works of Francis Bacon.
