Some experiences are more memorable than others, fleeting moments that leave indelible marks. Legend Leather tells the story of a

moment that left a mark on Alberto Morillas, founder and nose of Mizensir: a trip to Madrid in a

dream car on a summer afternoon. The sound of the engine, the inebriating sensation of speed, the smell of the leather that covers the cabin stimulate the mind of the master perfumer, giving life to the olfactory synesthesia that inspired Legend Leather.

 

The composition opens with vibrant notes of guaiac wood and aldehydes and then evolves into a heart of raspberry and iris

enriched with touches of saffron and ambergris. Immortelle and styrax on the base give density and structure to the fragrance

to create a powerful yet refined scent that evokes the sensation of skin rubbing on the leather of the seats and the emotion

of a day to remember.

 

“There are many ways to evoke leather. In this case, I wanted to combine strength and softness, but also the voluptuousness

of the sensation of skin against skin through an intense quality of leather. Like a kaleidoscope of emotions and

memories that can be felt in certain situations. The sensation of speed and freedom exalted me and I wanted

to transform them into a modern composition, as if it were a passion that is passed on to a younger

Top notes: guaiac wood essence, aldehydes, cistus essence

Heart notes: raspberry accord, iris absolute, saffron essence
