Karagoz, in English: "black eye", is one of the main figures of the traditional Turkish shadow play, which became popular during the Ottoman period and then spread over the Ottoman Empire of Turkey and Greece. The two art directors Mert Güzel and Murat Katran dreamed of transporting the legend of Karagoz & Hacivat to today's world. Inspired by the characters of classic shadow play, a perfume trilogy with perfumer Jorge Lee was created. Karagoz is a tribute to wit, simplicity and sincerity. A fantastic melange of fruity and joyful notes, as well as mystical, daring nuances - just a shuddering shadow play.
