With Acqua di Scandola by Parfums d'Empire, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato accepts the challenge of creating a marine perfume that breaks with tradition. Iodine, aromatic and mineral.

 

Essentially Mediterranean, exclusively Corsican.

A landscape perfume, as surprising as the place that inspires it: the Scandola peninsula, in western Corsica. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this nature reserve is only accessible by sea.

 

An essential fragrance based on three elements:

• The sea, distilled in an unprecedented seaweed extract, with transparent and brackish facets like turquoise water

• Wild nature, represented by the aromatic dryness of juniper and the penetrating scents of helichrysum

• Velvety mossy rocks. Ocher like hot sand. Ocher like skin salted by the sea and burnt by the sun.

 

Olfactory family: saline and solar

 

Head Notes: lemon, artemisia, basil and aldehydes

Heart Notes: aquatic notes, geranium, green notes, juniper and seaweed

Base Notes: patchouli and oakmoss
