Pekji was founded in 2018 by Omer Ipekci after years of underground existence, known only to the most devoted friends and perfume lovers. Perfumes are the result of an artistic creative process and an artisanal production process. Supported and encouraged by a like-minded audience, who seeks substance before marketing and expects more from perfume.
The launch collection called “Re:Collection”(2018) based on the theme of memory and identity. The perfumes in this collection are familiar genres through the filter of personal memory.
The second collection, Reset (2021) based on the themes of awareness, renewal and self-reflection. Unlike the previous collection, the perfumes are inspired by common but abstract human experiences rather than cultural and representative ones. The collection has a contemporary language and does not refer to existing perfume genres.
