The essence of incense comes from the resin of the Boswellia carterii tree. The best quality comes from Somalia. The harvest period is from November to February; during this period, the bark of the trees is incised to allow the resin to drip. After a few days, the resin hardens, forming the gum, which is then ready for the extraction of the essential oil.

 

ENCENS SACRÉ was born from the search for a sublime balance between two olfactory nuances of incense: the essence extracted by distillation, with a sweet, mineral, balsamic note, and the essence obtained through high-temperature distillation, which offers the true impression of burnt incense, in homage to the ancient art of fumigation. Supporting this duality, a floral heart of Moroccan Rose and Jasmine, and an enveloping base of Amber, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

 

A complex, intimate, meditative perfume.
