Anise is a spontaneous herbaceous plant that has been cultivated for centuries for its aromatic and medicinal properties. In the Piceno area in particular, anise has been processed since the 15th century. And it is precisely in Castignano that a particular ecotype of green anise is grown, richer in fragrance and sweetness, thanks to the extraordinary concentration of anethole. It is precisely this ingredient that carries out a deep purifying, refreshing and moisturizing action.
